How to Make Cozy Handwarmers - Sew - Handimania

Now when the winter has finally come, we use every minute of our spare time to go sledging down the nearest slopes. But even a short one-hour walk in the mountains can teach you a lesson, especially when the temperature reaches -10 degrees! You may be wearing the warmest Mittens, but there comes the time when you realize you actually can't feel your hands.

For the next turn of sledging, I'm taking Handwarmers. Following 'Rae Ann Kelly' I've found a good way to prepare them at home. What you need is just a piece of fabric and some rice. You cut out medium-sized squares, fill them with rice and sew them together. And you get elegant, reheatable hand-warmers ready to pop them in your mittens!

How do you protect your hands from frosty weather? Drop me a line!
