The inspiration for their wedding was a passion for all things vintage and retro, a love of fantasy and their amazing venue, Preston Court in Kent, which came complete with a vintage carousel! They had a traditional church ceremony followed by an afternoon tea reception.

"We became Mr & Mrs Parnham on Thursday 28th July 2016", said the bride. "We said our vows in a beautiful quaint church and spent a splendid afternoon and evening exploring old steam trains, having numerous rides on a carousel and dancing away the night to our vintage vinyl DJ."

"The wedding had a mix of styles. Our DIY projects included our photo booth background which was outside and set up like a vintage living room, and all the props on the tables."

"The theme was a whimsical wonderland with vintage details as well as Tolkien and Alice in Wonderland references. My shoes were from the Alice in Wonderland range from Irregular Choice but I couldn't really walk in them!"

"Our favourite part of the day was the ceremony, it's the most important bit and it was very emotional. We would tell other couples to not get too hung up on the details, decorations and theme as the ceremony is the most important element. The only thing I wish we'd done differently is we should have gone on the carousel more!"
