Channeling the sultry vision of last season's Spain-inspired line, designer Vera Wang continued to mesmerize with her Fall 2016 collection, entitled Hotel Madrid Part Two. Geared to the fashion-forward bride who isn't afraid to forego tradition, Wang's gowns effortlessly embodied sensual designs with boudoir-styled elements. Sheer illusion accents, bandeau tops and daring cutouts played into the collection's ultra-feminine appeal, while oversized bows and ostrich feathers added a more whimsical touch. Although the 16-piece collection boasted numerous risqué designs - including a revealing ivory V-neck long sleeve Chantilly lace gown - Wang also integrated more demure styles with a contemporary edge. An alluring light ivory long sleeve illusion organza ball gown, complete with a basque waist and voluminous tulle skirt was a particularly good example of the collection's modern aesthetic. Dark accents also complemented the line's ivory and white palette, infusing a hint of playfulness; however, Wang's inclusion of dark hues wasn't solely limited to accents and detailing. Opting to inject a more dramatic aesthetic, Wang also unveiled an all-black silk taffeta collared high-low gown, adorned with silk floral details and a hand-embroidered bubble hem.
