Now that the weather is starting to warm up, (or at least it was in Ireland until this very weekend..) we are looking forward to pulling out our big blankets and heading off into the countryside with our picnic baskets and homemade treats to pass the lovely long evenings. We gave consideration to a picnic style wedding before and although it might not be practical to plan such an event for 150 plus people, especially in a country like Ireland where the weather will play a huge role in the success of it, we can't think of anything more romantic than a picnic style wedding for those of you planning to elope to Europe this summer. Finding the perfect location is key, so take the time to explore before your planned wedding date and don't forget to ask for help, especially if you are planning on hiring a wedding planner or local photographer. Keep things simple and just pick up the necessities from small local delicatessens and grab a blanket or some cute cushions from wherever you can. It's all about having a relaxed, peaceful and romantic day somewhere beautiful in the world where you can just enjoy each other, where you are and all the great things that lie ahead.
