Moving into a new flat is tiring but it may also become a fascinating decoration adventure. Looking for furniture and ornaments is like looking for sticks to build a new cosy nest. You know that I adore DIY and I'm not fond of manufactured things. So I believe the simplest furniture ideas are the most surprising especially in utilitarian places such as kitchen or hall.

Grace Bonney from Design Sponge has come with one of them. With the use of a few pieces of rope and two wooden planks, she made an extraordinary Wrap-up + Rope Shelf. I will mull it over as I'm already running out of book space in my living room and I need to displace some of them to the hall. I was really excited to see Spool Bookcase but you need a huge room for this.
