I'm feeling more than a little smug this morning because I get to share possibly the best two-day-English-Indian wedding I have EVER seen. That's right folks, Lyndsey and Kayyor were lucky enough not to have one but TWO big days!

They started their wedding extravaganza with a smaller, intimate traditional English infused civil ceremony at the Olde Bell in Hurley. Filled to the brim with soft pink roses and silver candelabras and a beautiful 1920s drop waist dress, it couldn't have been more different to their second 'I Do' the following day at Hedsor House.

This time, against a back-drop of freshly fallen snow, the two participated in a traditional Hindu ceremony that just oozes colour and energy and excitement. Saris and a Bollywood theme were the order of the day with guests in traditional Indian dress against lavish decor.

Just wait until you see the beautiful flowers on the Mandap. I died and went to heaven. Actually I died over pretty much every single detail of Kayyor and Lindsay's two day affair. It looks flipping epic!

Lyndsey The Bride:Both Kayyor and I wanted to find two venues that fulfilled the 'England meets India' theme for the wedding. We had very specific criteria, the venue for the Hindu ceremony had to allow a fire to be lit, which automatically ruled out a number of venues.

For the English civil ceremony we wanted something that was quirky, rustic and had accommodation for our friends and family. When we went to visit the Olde Bell in Hurley this perfectly fitted the criteria for the English side of the wedding. We were extremely lucky to find Hedsor House only 20 mins away from the Olde Bell which allowed a Hindu ceremony and could be dressed up to make it suit the Indian/ Bollywood theme.

When it came down to the beauty for the English ceremony I wanted to have a very natural look. I found that Zowie at Flutterby created the vision in my head perfectly. For the Indian wedding, I was slightly apprehensive about finding someone who understood what I was after; I didn't want to look like I was dressing up and trying to be something that I was not. Annie Shah is used to working with both Indian and English brides and produced my hair and make-up for the Saturday and I was blown away with the results.

Everyone who attended the wedding commented on how different I looked on both days which was important to me because I wanted to look different for each ceremony.

I didn't actually try on that many dresses. Once I discovered Charlie Brear's designs I knew that I would find the dress of my dreams there. One dress stood out for me, from the 2013 Bridal Collection. I loved the 1920s inspired look of the dress and the drop waist suited my figure. Of course the dress of my dreams totally blew the budget so I took a chance and waited for the sample sale a couple of months later. Lo and behold, the dress I wanted appeared in the right colour and size in the sample sale.

I am quite into photography myself and was very clear on the type of photographer I wanted. We both wanted someone who would capture the day in an interesting and quirky way but without overly posed photographs. As we were having effectively two very different wedding days we needed someone very skilled to correctly capture and document both wedding ceremonies.

As soon as I saw Ann-Kathrin Koch's website and pictures I fell in love with her style and knew that she was the person to take the pictures for the wedding. Her photos of the wedding are fantastic and capture both days perfectly; I couldn't ask for more.

We had our wedding invites designed by Sally Leach from Little Peach and she designed us our wedding invites for us with a London meets India theme. We incorporated an elephant motif within our invite and used this as our theme across the day on Saturday, to associate with Ganesh, the elephant god.

For the English ceremony I chose an antique pink dress for the bridesmaids to compliment the vintage theme. I found the dress online from Fever Designs.

Kayyor had two best men, and they chose ties that complimented the bridesmaid dresses. Kayyor was very keen on a classic tailored look and Jack Bunneys had great suits for hire.

We wanted flowers that could be used across both of our wedding days. Vibrant purple and pink were the order of play on Saturday whereas more muted pinks were used on Friday. After numerous appointments we found Chantal-Flores at the Olde Bell Wedding Fair. We made an appointment with her and she instantly understood what we were trying to achieve and gave us a whole design of flowers and props that could be used across both venues and days in different ways.

On Saturday J & I Events completed all the flowers and decorations for the Mandap, (which is the name of the stage you get married on). I was keen to keep the flower scheme white, to give the maximum impact for the table decorations in the dining room.

I had light pink bouquet on Friday and a mix of purple and pink on Saturday. We also we had button holes to match the bouquets on both days. I absolutely loved the look we created and Chantal perfectly created the look that we wanted.

We loved the overall feel and ambience of the two days, what added to it was the fact that everyone dressed accordingly for the two days, typically English on Friday and Indian clothes for Saturday; this made it truly magical for us. I know that everyone says, getting married is the best day of your life, I absolutely have to agree, I married the man I love in two beautiful venues, with lots of love and laughter from friends and family around us. What more can you want from your wedding?
