From the Bride:
Our theme was a cross between vintage chic and rustic country. We wanted everything to give off the feel that you took a trip back 50 years or so. That being said, a lot of our antiques from local thrift shops were from that era. The bouquets were actually flowers picked personally by me at The Fresh Market. We wanted to capture that rustic country style by choosing wildflowers, which were later arranged and wrapped in burlap by Lara of Lara's Theme.

God added his own touch to our day by keeping impending rain and thunderstorms away throughout the evening but somehow accented our vows and our ceremony with thunder from above. We chose Waldo's Secret Garden as the site of our wedding because we fell in love with its eccentricities and general vintage feel; it truly hit the mark. Most of the decorations, including the table decorations, the candy bar, and all the picture arrangements were made by the mother of the bride. Otherwise everything was handmade by us, and the mother of the groom. To really set the theme in motion we chose music from the era to be played at our reception along with some good ole' southern BBQ provided by Sonny's to be served as our dinner. Best of all, we had the most amazing photographers, Ben and Rebekah of Kallima Photograhy, who coached us, prayed with us, and laughed with us throughout the day. Without them, this experience would not have been as amazing as it was. Thank you! We would do it all again, exactly the same way, given the chance, as we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding.
