Enjoy party people and we will see you in the New Year!

Over to PapaKåta....

This Autumn PapaKåta hosted not one, but two Open Weekends. In addition to their bi-annual Open Weekend in York in October, they also hosted their first ever Open Day in the South of England!

For the first time PapaKåta showcased their beautiful Sperry sailcloth tents in the South. Since opening their Henley-on-Thames base earlier this year, PapaKåta felt it was important to meet with Brides, Grooms and event planners closer to home and their preferred wedding venues. Housed in the stunning RHS Garden Wisley, Surrey, and with a backdrop of the beautiful Wisley glasshouse, the event was captured by the talented Sanshine Photography.

With influences from this season's colour palette of blush and copper tones, guests were transported to serene surroundings under the oyster-coloured canvas of the stunning sailcloth Sperry Tent.

Guests were greeted with a glass of bubbles by Gorilla Events and tasty canapés by Caper Green. Table setting inspiration was provided by Couvert bespoke event hire and The Charming Press launched their gold foil collection of beautifully illustrated stationery. The Buttercup Bus captured the day's fun and frolics with personalised instant prints.

The PapaKåta Teepees and Sperry Tents returned to their Spiritual home of Escrick Park in October, with Melia Melia Photography capturing the weekend's inspiration.

Festival wedding inspired details and artistic influences were abounding, with the Teepees celebrating in a riot of colour, with loose eclectic flowers dotted with feathers by Forage & Blossom.

Meanwhile the Sperry Tents were filled with warm, brightly coloured blooms by Lucy MacNicoll Floral Design and juxtaposed with royal blue toile, highlighting the current trend for patterned tablecloths. And Tala Mayamey's beautiful hand-painted cake was in perfect harmony with the vibrant florals.

And if there was any doubt in your mind about whether or not 'all the best parties really do happen in a PapaKåta tent', innovative street food by The Hog & Apple, 'neon tiki' cocktails by Speakeasy Libations, uplifting beats by DJ Boon Grant Saker, and photobooth fun from Booth Revolution, should quash any such doubts.

If you missed seeing PapaKåta's Teepees and Sperry Tents this Autumn, then make sure you pop the 19 th and 20 th March 2016 in your diaries as the team are already planning their 2016 Spring Open Weekend at Escrick Park.
