If you hear that squealing sound across the web today, that's us getting excited over the fact that we are exactly ONE MONTH from kickoff of our nationwide 2016 Lovesick Expo tour - our gay-friendly, guy-friendly, unicorn-friendly, actually-super-fun wedding expos.

The first 2016 Lovesick Expo will be January 9th in New York, and I've bought my plane tickets, and am getting freaking excited. Unlike last year (when I was hit by a metaphorical bus in between shows and spent a week in the hospital), I am planning to attend every single one of this year's eight shows!

I am so incredibly excited to meet as many of you as possible... and by "meet," I mean "hug, gossip, and smell your hair."

This is Lovesick's sixth year of defying the wedding mainstream with a wedding expo that is actually inclusive, actually fun, and actually awesome. (How inclusive? So inclusive that before the doors open, we remind vendors to check their assumptions about heterosexuality, cisgender identity, or even monogamy.)

Every Lovesick Expo features 30-45 hand-curated wedding businesses, just enough to be varied but not overwhelming. There's also live bands and DJs, performances (sexy smarty burlesque dancers! our favorite circus weirdos! more!), and booze (yep, events are 21+).

Don't be afraid: this is not a convention center "bridal fair" where you wander bleakly under fluorescent lights. This is more like a loft party where you grab a drink, chat with creative vendors who do super cool shit, then enjoy some entertainment, and maybe even win some stuff. (One couple won a photo shoot in Paris!)
