Break out the popcorn as we are off to the movies with a beautiful real wedding film South of France by Shoot me Now Films. Studying film at college, I LOVE films and always really enjoy watching wedding films, but what stuck with me about this real wedding film was the different approach that videographer Daniel Armitage takes to capturing the moments of the big day/

Videography Daniel Armitage takes us through their love story and big day: " Lois met Mark on a blind date that was set up by their mutual friends, it is safe to safe to say that they hit it off straight away. They both loved to go ski, which gave Mark a lovely idea. Mark proposed to Lois on her birthday in March at the highest point of Alpe d'Huez in France, she said 'yes' at 3330 meters up, and from the top of that mountain their wedding story began.

As Mark's parents both live half of the year in Saint Mathieu, Mark and Lois decided to have a look around the area, which is how they found and decided to get married at Bellevue in the South West of France. They were immediately attracted to Bellevue by its rolling countryside, vineyards and the romantic manor. Their wedding was an intimate day with close family and friends and surrounded by idyllic scenery, it was a personal wedding for them as they were familiar with the area and everything felt right and relaxed. The bride was wearing a wedding dress was called Jodie which was by Enzoani, and her shoes were Carvela. The real heroine behind the scenes was Lois' mother as she customised Lois' veil, dress and made her a custom head piece, as well as all of the bridesmaids dresses. New Mr and Mrs both had Raymond Weil time pieces for their wedding day which went beautifully with their look. To capture their special day they chose to have Photographer Michael Hope who had also photographed a few of Lois' friends and relatives weddings previously. Lois also approached Shoot me Now Films while they were filming at her cousins wedding, which is how she found and chose to have them to film her wedding in a unique and cinematic style. Carey Hawkins was Lois' make up artist for the day who was sourced by the venue for Lois, her hairdresser and close friend was Jodie Breeds who was also attended her wedding. Lois had a beautiful vintage ring that she got from an antique store in York, which went perfectly with her Art Deco engagement ring. The officiant who joined Mark and Lois together on their special day was Ron Cousins, and his wife Caroline sang for them at the ceremony. The wedding guests were treated to a culinary delight during the wedding reception, which was provided for by the venue. Lois and Mark found it comfortable to organise their destination wedding as the venue Bellevue was run by English speakers which made communication with them a lot easier, as well as them being super helpful with sourcing many essentials for the special day. The only possible difficulties could have happened in transporting wedding items from the UK to the venue. Flowers, favours and wedding decorations were all sourced from the UK but luckily Mark's parents were on hand and able to drive everything to the venue themselves as they were close by. "
