Kerry and Trey decided to tie the knot at Wyoming's Snake River Ranch, and married the rustic setting with preppy details for a celebration you won't be able to get enough of. "My sisters and I have charm bracelets we've been adding to since we were kids. On my wedding day, my parents gave me the sweetest gold barn engraved with our initials. I will always cherish that charm, and it's the most beautiful memento from our wedding."

The Ceremony

"Trey and I met in Jackson Hole in 2009, and it's our favorite place on earth. It's where we fell in love, made incredible friends, and the only place we could imagine ourselves getting married. Snake River Ranch, which backs up to the Tetons, was stunning and the perfect place for our wedding."

Your ceremony in three words. Loving, spiritual, traditional.

Who officiated your ceremony? After the tragic loss of Trey's sister to brain cancer in 2012, my in-laws grew very close with Ken Ruge of The Reformed Church of Bronxville, NY. Trey and I were so honored that he could come to Jackson Hole to marry us. After so much sadness, it was wonderful to celebrate a joyous occasion with him and both families.

What were your vows like? As so many before us, we exchanged traditional vows.

What were your ceremony readings? We chose two readings that struck the perfect tone between casual and spiritual for our wedding day. We don't consider ourselves to be religious people, but in those moments with the sun poking through, surrounded by our loved ones, it was a sacred moment.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding ceremony? Trey went in early for the kiss, and everybody got a big laugh out of it!

Is there anything else that you'd like to share about your wedding ceremony? We had a small, family-only bridal party, which felt very special. The joining of two families was important to us and Trey wanted to have our siblings by our side. In honor of Elizabeth, Trey's sister who passed, there was a small log next to me with a bouquet of flowers. We loved this tribute and she was definitely with us on that day.

Please tell us about any other special details or moments from your wedding. It hailed all day long, and while we were getting ready, we were anticipating a downpour during the ceremony. But just as we arrived, the sun came out and I felt Elizabeth's presence so strongly. Trey and I couldn't stop smiling because we were so happy to be married to one another and celebrating with our families.

What advice do you have for other couples in the midst of planning a wedding? Put love and thought into your thank you notes. Those are the most important people in your life, and it's an amazing opportunity to tell them how much they mean to you.

What was the best advice you received as a bride? Our wedding planner would always sign off on her emails with "This is going to be fun!" It was the perfect way to keep planning light, and the best mantra for our wedding day.

Do you have any budget tips for other brides? I found it helpful not to get attached to any single idea, and remain open minded throughout the planning process.

The Reception

"I'm a blue and white girl all the way, and can always use a pop of pink, so my favorite colors were incorporated into our reception. I wanted our wedding to be comfortable for everyone, and for our guests to feel at home in the place where we'd fallen in love."

Your reception in three words. Rustic, playful, wild!

Are there any DIY details you'd like to tell us about? My sister monogrammed our napkins at the head table - they were my favorite detail!

Did you have a signature cocktail? We served Margaritas and Wyoming Whiskey Manhattans - our favorite cocktails, and a nod to Trey's New York roots.

What was your wedding menu? We wanted our reception to be very casual, so instead of a formal dinner, we had slider, seafood and carving stations.

What type of cake or dessert did you serve? Persephone Bakery created the most amazing dessert table! The s'mores were out of this world and it went with our rustic feel. We had a small cake to cut as well, topped with a tiny monogrammed canoe I found on Etsy!

What was your first dance song? Our first dance was to " Home" by Edward Sharpe. Trey and his mom danced to an Otis Redding song, and my dad and I hit the dance floor with Louis Armstrong singing " What a Wonderful World."

How would you describe the music at your reception? We had the best band - the Jerry Barnett Orchestra flew up from Denver and they were incredible! I couldn't believe that a band could have all 270 guests on their feet the entire evening, but ours definitely did!

What was your favorite moment or part of the reception? Our Father-Daughter dance! My Dad picked me up and twirled me out of nowhere - it was a surreal moment and everyone got such a kick out of it!
