Final touches can make or break an outfit and we believe its the little things than can elevate a good outfit to something a bit spesh. Like when you have that va va vom pair of heels that make you walk like Beyonce (is that just us?!) or that perfect handbag that somehow just seems to go with everything in your wardrobe and you wonder how you lived with out it. With this in mind this month we are talking jewels. We are big jewellery fans, and when we say big we mean BIG, in particular little slithers of yellow gold that glint in the sun, warm up your skintone and catch the light in a subtle, understated way that diamonds just don't. Now don't get us wrong, like every girl we both had our Breakfast at Tiffany's moment with our sparkling engagement rings but day to day its the gold stuff that gets us going.

Some designers in particular for SS15 have read our minds (and put our credit cards in danger) by accessorising their catwalk models with some beautiful jewellery pieces. Valentino's cute marine symbols on little gold rings are perfect for that mix and match look, Dior layered up little multiple hoop earrings for a nod towards a free spirited retro babe and the dainty necklace ruled at Saint Laurent who also portrayed a Seventies spirit with love heart pendants on bare skin like you are wearing your first sweetheart's necklace in a sign of young love.

We took a trip recently to their store and its like a little Aladdin Cave with some unique but totally wearable things. Sophie Breitmeyer's jewellery has been worn by Rhianna and Sienna Miller and when you see her signet rings you can see why. We have been longterm fans of Zoe & Morgan who produce covetable collections time after time and Muru Jewellery's bracelets and pendants we are sure would become your jewellery staples.

Marilyn may have infamously sang that diamonds are a girls best friend, but we'll stick with Kanye and say we dig a bit of gold.
