Waking up bleary-eyed is never fun. No matter how much fun you had the night before, bloodshot eyes aren't the best souvenir. Luckily, there are some tricks for mending your body and your eyes, and there's one eye-brightening tip you may never have considered: navy eye makeup.

Blue makes white really pop, so it's a perfectly subtle way to bring out the whites in your eyes. You probably already have navy eyeliner in your makeup bag, so now's the time to put it to use. We especially like applying it to the inner rim of the lower lash line. Lancôme Artliner in Navy and L'Oréal Paris Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Cobalt Blue are both great for this.

For a fun twist, branch out from black with a deep navy mascara, like YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils in Midnight Blue. It will still read as a work-appropriate dark, but will make your eyes glow just a bit more.
