Roman Wedding Inspiration | Fly Away Bride

Well Lindsay and I are finally back from our travels! In the last three weeks we've done three weddings as House of Hannah- two in Ireland and one in Italy. While we were in Italy we also managed to fit in a photoshoot with the amazing Jen Huang. (We're still on an actual high from getting to work with such a hugely talented photographer who is also a joy to work with and so much fun to be around!) We had planned the shoot to be Greco-Roman inspired and based it around the board below. While the wedding we worked on took place just outside Florence, the shoot was in the smaller town of Gubbio two hours away that actually has an ancient Roman amphitheater and our original plan was to get some shots there. However, weather intervened and on the day of the shoot we spent a large portion of the day chasing the sun, ending up in a beautiful olive grove just outside Arezzo as the sun set. With only half an hour left of sunlight, Jen still managed to get the most gorgeous shots. We are really looking forward to sharing the shoot with you, as well as the weddings we've covered in the last few weeks. So, stay tuned..
