Knots & Kisses New Designs for 2014

Written by: louise

If you haven't already guessed, I have a bit of a pretty paper obsession, so sharing the newest creations from some of my favourite designers is always a pleasure! With wedding season and the deadline for getting your invites posted fast approaching, today we're discovering two brand new designs from Knots & Kisses. A Devon-based studio making handmade wedding stationery with a modern vintage twist, designer Nikki has her finger on the pulse. This Spring she has come up with two ranges inspired by current trends, and translated them into timeless designs that your guests will love to receive.

First up {and my personal favourite!} The Ombre Collection combines two of this year's prettiest colours, mint and blush, with a burst of colour as a strong floral motif. This mix of pastels and brights - as seen in my Pastel Brights inspiration board last week - is a hot trend for this year & one I think particularly appeals to modern brides looking to add just a touch of pretty to their day.

Nikki says ~

The Ombre Collection is definitely for those with a love of both florals but also modern graphic style, combining the two in a way which is not overly pretty. I think by adding the painterly bright florals it has done this and I'm over the moon with the result! The range comes as a complete set using a high quality 350gsm card, and includes Day Invitations, Save the Dates, Order of Service and a full set of matching reception stationery, along with the option of 'Ready to Write' Packs which are blank for you to fill in your own wedding details and are a great value alternative for those on a budget or in need of invitations very quickly.

Embracing another big trend emerging this year, The China Blue Collection combines a strong blue palette with patterns and motifs often found on vintage china. This simplified take on vintage is definitely the way forward, allowing you to inject a timeless feel to your wedding without becoming chintzy and cluttered.

From Nikki ~

Inspired by vintage blue & white china, I have kept my China Blue Collection feeling light and fresh with the addition of Kraft card and white lace ribbon, and introduced the idea of a monogram of the couple's initials to add a really personal feel. The range comes as a complete set using a high quality textured 320gsm card, and includes Day Invitations, Day Invitation packs which include a RSVP and Info card and are tied with lace and a monogrammed tag, Save the Dates, Order of Service and a full set of matching reception stationery, along with the option of 'Ready to Write' Packs which are blank for you to fill in your own wedding details and are a great value alternative for those on a budget or in need of invitations very quickly.
