Morning my loves! This morning I’m thrilled to introduce you to the last of our b.team newbies, Jen from Kalm Kitchen.  Renowned not only for their exceptional cuisine, but also their beautifully styled and executed events, Jen is the perfect addition to the b.team!  I just can’t wait to show you what we created on our latest shoot!

I am absolutely delighted to be joining the b.team and the line-up of incredibly creative suppliers already on board. Working alongside talented and passionate suppliers who share the same vision for creating truly unique (and enjoyable!) weddings is sure to lead to fantastic results and I am excited about the collaborations ahead.

At Kalm Kitchen we strive to combine excellence in service and creativity, we hope to share our passion for food with b.loved readers and inspire couples to choose a menu that injects a sense of fun and theatre into their big day. Alongside sharing gorgeous food and recipe ideas we hope to impart expert advice on seasonal produce, choosing the perfect menu and working with suppliers to ensure your day runs smoothly.  I am very excited to be part of the b.team journey!

What better way to start than with a selection of my favourite dishes?!

Creative canapes

I love our fillet of beef skewers with a horseradish dip presented on lollipop sticks placed in milk bottle jars, accompanied by fresh blooms and a mist of nitrogen ice to create a wow factor for guests.

Simple starters

The perfect delicious starter has to be fillet steak, spring onion mash with caramelised shallots, served on a mini slate board.

Family-style dining

Serving main courses on our wooden boards creates a real talking point amongst guests. One of my favourites is rack of pork accompanied with creamy dauphinoise potatoes, honey roasted carrots, diced cabbage and deep fried sage topped off with a mini pouring jug of pork gravy.

DIY Desserts

Fresh berries, pearly white meringues, raspberry compote, vanilla cream and strawberry crisp are served in beautiful cut glass bowls, so guests can then have fun creating their own scrumptious dessert – bringing theatre and fun to the end of the meal

Patisserie Bars

A stylish alternative to sweetie tables, Patisseries Bars offer an elegant grown-up twist on this trend. Creating a focal point after the wedding breakfast has been served the bars can be styled in keeping with a couples theme. Glass fronted bars adorned with cut glass and mercury vases make the perfect addition to a chic contemporary celebration. Piled high with delicious treats such as triple chocolate mouse served in glass jars, macaroons, chocolate dipped strawberries on lollipops and flavoured marshmallow cones they are guaranteed to keep your guests full well into the evenings celebrations.
