Today's real wedding is a little bit different from the ones we normally feature. Because, well, none of the guests knew they were at a wedding! Crafty couple (in more ways than one!), Ben & Kelly planned their Brooklyn big day under the rouse of an engagement party.

One of my favourite things about my job is getting to see just how different and unique each and every wedding really is. On Friday, we shared a gorgeous city wedding with you guys, with an urban venue, chic style, and creative details, and today, we're sharing the same.

New Yorkers Jen and Drew nearly met through a friend who tried to set them up on a blind date, however Jen wasn't into the idea. However, as luck would have it, about a month later they met at a party and really hit it off.

Alyssa McElheny of Alyssa M Photography is a wedding photography from Michigan who like many, fell in love with Brooklyn and all she has to offer! She came up with this great fashion shoot using dresses from Ceremonia NYC, gathered some goodies from a junk shop, and cobbled together a bouquet and hairpiece all herself!

I've always wanted to see what a wedding at one of my favorite restaurants, Gran Electrica, would look like! Kate and Michael really did their backyard up with lovely minimal papel picado flags and let the outdoors do what they do best.

When we see a team of vendors including Jen Huang Photography, Saipua, and Stone Fox Bride, we know we're in for something good. Of course, Aynsley and Nate's wedding didn't let us down. From the sophisticated but relaxed style to the beyond amazing floral design, every bit of this wedding day is sure to inspire!

If you guys ever wondered why it was that I opt to work with New York wedding photographer Melissa Kruse Photography as often as I can for all of our beauty features, today's utterly stunning wedding will serve as photographic gospel to her voice.

Its definitely getting cooler in Brooklyn, but these wedding dresses from BHLDN are HOT, and perfect for a multitude of neighborhood venues. From the team: Earlier in the season, BHLDN met with florist, blogger and real-life bride-to-be (now newlywed), Lisa Przystup, in Greenpoint Brooklyn, where she starred in a shoot featuring the brand's favorite reception styles from the fall 2015 collection.

Seriously guys, I don't think I could love this wedding any more than I already do! Its minimal, sophisticated, and has pops of my favorite color green all mixed in to the perfect Brooklyn venue! From the bride: From the beginning, we knew we wanted to celebrate with our families and closest friends in an intimate, laid-back environment.

Its been 2 weeks since Brooklyn Living launched, and I just realized I never told you guys about it officially, so consider this your heads up! Its quite a long time in the making (I think 3 years?), and really came from me wanting to have a voice in other topics, not just weddings.

As soon as I heard the description "chic warehouse wedding in Brooklyn," I was sold. Then I saw the work put together by all-stars Pat Furey, Bespoke Only, and Ariel Dearie Flowers, and I was completely blown away.

There simply isn't one single thing we don't adore about Jen and Jesse's modern Brooklyn wedding. Rather than a formal dinner, the couple chose to enjoy a progressive cocktail party with their guests, a perfect mix of formality and casualness. Liberty Warehouse set the perfect scene with its industrial aesthetic.

Last year The Atlantic Avenue BID hosted their first ever wedding expo, and this year they are continuing on its success with a second time around on Sunday, April 13th from 12-5pm. This time, all the vendors will be housed at Deity Event Space, and they've invited some talent from outside Atlantic Ave.

I make little secret of my love for Brooklyn Winery, but after viewing these images from Clean Plate Pictures, can you really blame me? Not only does this romantic wedding have some stunning floral design and handmade escort cards, but it also boasts an anniversary cake for the bride's parents!
