Be still our hearts. Every single moment of Emily and Marcus' Tuscany wedding is utterly awe-inspiring. The couple, together for five years, is from Norway, but chose to marry in Italy after Emily fell in love the with the country during her travels and her three-year medical study in Padova. Over 100 guests traveled to Monteriggioni, a charming small walled town counting just 9000 people near Siena, to celebrate. Their wedding planner, Francesca of SposiamoVi, introduced them to the stunning Borgo Stomennano and it was love at first sight.Their wedding weekend started off with an Italian-style pizza night by the swimming pool, following by a Saturday wedding, and concluding with a relaxing farewell brunch on Sunday. The intimate Santa Cristina church in Monteriggioni held the ceremony, officiated by Marcus' uncle. The guests were then driven to Borgo Stomennano where they were treated to a romantic Italian garden reception with wrought iron chairs, beautiful florals by La Rosa Canina, and a canopy of lights above. Prepare to transport yourself to Italy via the gorgeous images from Lelia Scarfiotti!
