Bright and bold colour tones are becoming more and more popular in styling. Well, an energetic and creative team collaborated in creating a styled shoot like no other, the colour me in styled shoot. The team included Alexander Smith Photograhy, Absolute Perfection, Canvas Stationery Boutique, Gartier by Tres-Jolie, Erin Smylie and Pippa and Polly Party and Events.

The concept of this shoot is one of "colouring-in". Starting off with a blank canvas and then progressively filling in the colours like you would if you were colouring in a book. Coast Studio in Newtown was the perfect 'blank canvas' backdrop for this shoot. Primary colours red & blue and a bold orange were the perfect 'popping' colours.

We wanted the process of colouring in to come alive and so decided to do a Stop Motion
Video. To the beat of a really catchy tune our stage is set, the flowers are arranged, the cake is 'coloured in', table is styled, the chairs do a little dance while bride & groom get ready. At the end of the video it all just becomes a colourful mess of smudged make-up & paint on a dress.

Make-up is bold and makes use of the primary colours red & blue.
