Here's how to make it in a nutshell: make a deep parting, then separate hair in two sections; take a little piece from the first section (from over the edge of the braid) and bring over to the second section, then bring a piece from the second section to the first one. The technique is simple, so just repeat until you have finished. For more volume pull the braid apart a bit. Voila!
