Never has such a cold-blooded proposal made us feel so warm inside.
Watch above as a baby alligator helps Eric Griemsmann pop the question to Samantha Warner at Gatorland in Orlando, Florida. The big moment begins around the 4-minute mark, as a blindfolded Samantha participates in the "Up Close Encounters" part of the show.
In comes Eric, bearing a baby gator with a ring tied to it. Samantha gladly held the little guy and her future with Eric in her hands. The rest is reptilian engagement history.
"I was secretly more excited to hold the baby alligator than the ring!" Kent State grad Samantha told Fox 8 News in Cleveland.
On YouTube, where Samantha posted the video June 8 (the proposal happened in February), she wrote simply, "The sweetest marriage proposal I've ever seen and the greatest day of my life."
