Looking to learn a new crafting technique this fall? One of my faves, @thecraftersbox has such a fun workshop for September thanks to @hellohydrangea learning to explore the beautiful art of Pibione tapestry weaving. I just got an early kit for this one and I’m SO excited to make this one!!! Weaving is an ancient craft that has been practiced throughout the world, Pibione is a unique style of weaving that translates to ‘grapes’ in Italian and refers to the small bumps within the tapestry that create a pattern. Known for its detail and craftsmanship, Pibione is practiced on the small island of Sardinia in Italy by a handful of artists that are keeping the original designs and looms alive. Lindsey Campbell, the AMAZING artist behind @hellohydrangea is sharing this workshop with @thecraftersbox this September!
