Intimate + Artistic Wedding in Tivoli, New York

via

Today we're heading to upstate New York - Tivoli, to be exact - for an intimate, artsy + bohemian wedding! Hannah + Conor were inspired by its art-filled rooms and the farm-to-table eatery at Hotel Tivoli. The bride wore a stunning lace dress and played up its effortlessly cool feeing with loose + colorful bouquets, along with whimsical watercolor accents.

The couple shares We kept our wedding ceremony to just 14 people and made a weekend out of it in upstate New York. This kept it super intimate - everyone got to know each other really well, and we had a bunch of time to enjoy everything as just the two of us. #Tinyweddings rule!

Let's head to upstate New York to see all the gorgeous images captured by photographer, Amber Gress! (She even crawled through prickly bramble bushes to get some of the best shots.)

The Hotel Tivoli was designed by local artists, Brice and Helen Marden, and all the rooms are brimming with eclectic pieces.

We're loving these modern mules by Maryam Nassir Zadeh.

That flower crown!!

So gorgeous.

How fun is the groom's suit by Montedoro? Especially with the darling dark blue floral print.

Hannah's lacy gown is by Dreamers and Lovers.

Hannah shares Pick vendors you love and then give them the creative freedom to do what they do best. Our direction to our amazing florist, Mairead Travins at Flower Kraut, was simply "colorful," and she absolutely nailed it!

How stunning are these two?

Processional: Only Love by Ben Howard sung by the best man, Myles Robinette

Recessional: You are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne sung by the best man, Myles Robinette

First Dance: The couple skipped the first dance as it didn't feel like them

We decided to write our vows ourselves and only shared the approximate length and structure in advance to make sure that they flowed together, however the words themselves were a surprise. Hearing each other's vows for the first time, in front of our families, was so much more emotional than we could have ever imagined. I ended up crying big black tears (waterproof mascara turned out to be no match for me!) I am eternally grateful to our best man's wife, who was also my make-up artist. She ran up, not once, but twice during the ceremony to clean the mascara streaks from my face with her sleeves!

So sweet!!

ALL THE FLORALS! So, so colorful.

Take a look at Hannah's darling manicure + her sparkly ring from Mociun!

How fun are these watercolor portraits?

The wonderful General Manager at Hotel Tivoli, Janett Pabon, planned the entire three-course menu based on what was seasonally available, a week before the event.

Try to envision your wedding - is it small, is it big, formal, or casual? If you don't know, go look at venues in person to get a gut feeling. We couldn't decide between having a larger wedding or a tiny one, but after looking at different spots, it became obvious that a very intimate one would make us the happiest. It was also much less stressful to plan!

A huge congrats to you, Hannah + Conor!!
