Braidan and Courtney first met in kindergarten, but they went their separate ways for high school. "Even though we would see each other periodically it wasn't until we were 20 that we met up again and sparks began to fly," Courtney explains. After three and a half years of dating, Braidan arranged for an ultra romantic Valentine's Day proposal at their cabin on Falcon Lake. "We skated on the lake under the stars, and Braidan got down on one knee and proposed. When I said yes, a friend set off fireworks in celebration!" Courtney says.

For their wedding, the couple naturally chose an enchanted winter wonderland theme to recreate the romance of the proposal, and Courtney says that the décor was one of her favourite elements of the day. "We had alternating centrepieces of four-foot sandblasted Manzanita branches adorned with strands of hanging crystals and twinkle lights, and three-foot crystal candelabras with elaborate three-foot flower arrangements. LED lights under each table created an amazing glow and a white, monogrammed dance floor added that extra touch," Courtney says. "We felt like royalty as we sat at the head table in our king and queen chairs!"

Décor aside, the couple agrees that their ultimate highlight from the day was their first dance. "A cloud of dry ice smoke cascaded from the stage down to the dance floor to envelop our feet as friends and family gathered around us. It was the most romantic of moments but shared with all those who love us," Courtney says.
