Arezou and Sina let their botanical garden venue inspire their wedding theme. "The entire mood of the wedding was so romantic," says Arezou. "The ceremony took place under the arbour in the UBC Botanical Garden, the place where I first met Sina. Afterward, we had a cocktail reception on the lawn, which included a spontaneous dance party!"

To complement their lush surroundings, the couple chose a soft and elegant colour scheme. "With all the beautiful greenery in the garden, we thought a soft palette of white hues would work best," Arezou explains. "The neutral palette really complemented the arbour and the rest of the wedding details." Finally, the pair added string lights, chandeliers and lawn furniture to the décor to create an enchanted garden look. "The décor looked so beautiful and it completely encapsulated the feeling of an elegant garden cocktail party."

One of the couple's favourite details of the day was the stationery, which was finished in rose gold and dark cherry hues. "Everything from the invitations to the paper elements on the day of were so gorgeous. They gave the guests a sense of the black-tie garden party they were attending, and had a very luxurious texture," Arezou explains.

The enchanted evening ended with an incredible dinner under the arbour and a night of dancing. "The day was magical from beginning to end. After planning for over a year, all the details were perfect, the weather turned out great and we had an amazing party," Arezou says. "It made all our hard work so worth it when the DJ played the last few songs on the dance floor and we saw that no one wanted to leave! Every moment was unforgettable."
