Loumari and Danie got married at Lalapanzi Hotel in Soutpansberg. We love the elegant decor, with the pops of colour. The couple asked Charl Van der Merwe Photography to photograph their big day.

We both live in a small town Louis Trichardt. Here, everybody knows everybody. At the end of my first year (2011) at University, he started to message me and we became good friends. After a year of long distance relationship, I came back to Louis Trichardt and continued my studies part time. Love will make you do strange things =).

He proposed on the 13th of March 2015. We went to a game farm nearby, I thought it was a weekend away with friends. When we got there, he said we must go on a game drive while waiting for our friends to join us. He stopped the game driver at the most beautiful place in the bush between the Soutpansberg, and asked him just to take a photo of us at this unbelievable place. As soon as the picture was taken, I turned around and saw Danie on his one knee with the most beautiful ring in his hand. The game driver just continued to take photos while Danie was proposing. It was so special.

The moment when I walked down the aisle and saw my husband crying while he was waiting for me.

It was classy and elegant, filled with intimate and loving family and friends who made the day something to remember.
