It's Bridal Fashion Week in NYC, so every day this week, we're bringing you our pick of the most exciting collections for Spring 2017.

So, we had a different (gorgeous!) collection to share with you guys today, but right before we hit 'post', as we were scrolling through Instagram, we clapped eyes on the pic below from the Monique Lhuillier catwalk show and just knew we had to share this one with you instead!

It was held in the garden of Ladurée in Soho, which has played host to a few very pretty shows over the last few days (why weren't they held in the home of macarons when we were in New York last season?)

Monique Lhuillier is one of those rare bridal designers whose gowns manage to be both aspirational and accessible.

Real brides love her dresses, and she's one of the most popular designers among the real weddings we feature. But at the same time, her designs are fashion forward, luxurious, unusual, and so dreamy.

This season's collection is much more light and airy than previous years, but keeps up the whimsy and wearability with a selection of gowns that has something for every kind of bride.

Embellished slip dresses or a cropped pant jumpsuit for a style savvy gal, strapless ballgowns and ruffles for the hopeless romantic, and flowing cover-ups and clean plunging necklines for a retro bohemian, along with lots of sparkles, sheer textures, and stunning detailing for the bride who wants a little more glamour.

We just love it when a collection is as vastly contrasting as this one (rather than a variation of the same dress coming down the catwalk 20 times!) and it shows a designer who's not just creative and talented, but in tune with brides and their desire to feel special and unique on their big day.

2017 brides, you lucky things you!

Just gorgeous, right? It's so hard to choose a favourite! I adore that last one with the floral detailing, the midi dress is particularly cool, perhaps for a civil wedding, the tiered tulle is so pretty but I just love the look of the clean halter with zero embellishment - such a statement look!
