Chris and Paige's glamorous Ibizan wedding took place on the breathtaking grounds of Anam Cara overlooking Es Vedra. As well as capturing the wedding, Daniela York styled the celebration with the couple's sweet and simple ceremony taking place on a balcony overlooking the gorgeous view. In the 38ºC weather the day had more of a garden party vibe and even the onset of heavy storm failed to dampen spirits: the sky was electric and the party carried on with everyone dancing barefoot until the early hours.

HOW THEY MET

"My husband and I were out at a bar one evening and a bit tipsy and he said he wanted to marry me but I just laughed at him. I reminded him the next day and he went bright red and we both laughed! A week later he came to my flat and we were stood on my balcony in London Bridge overlooking the Shard then he got down on one knew and proposed. We had only been together for three months! I said yes.

DESTINATION DECISION

We decided to get married in Ibiza as it's one of our favourite places in the world. We both have a huge connection with the island and wanted to get married abroad, but somewhere not too far away so that our friends and family could also get there easily. We chose a villa called "Anam Cara" which translates into " soulmates" in celtic and the villa was built into a cliff overlooking the mysterious rock Es Vedra, which is supposed to be the third most magnetic place on the planet after the North Pole and the Bermuda Triangle. It really was a stunning venue and location. I didn't go for a theme per say, however I like to think that it was slightly glam with a strong element of romance. I wanted it to feel really relaxed based on the environment and weather.

CHALLENGES

The biggest challenge was being based in London and trying to organise everything in Ibiza. I didn't involve a wedding planner until right at the end of the process and I am so glad that I did! For planning, we used Kerry-Anne Winton, she was absolutely amazing, although I didn't bring her in until about two-thirds into the planning. She advised me to make some changes and also introduced me to some key suppliers, plus she ran the day like clockwork! My photographer Daniela Tasca York helped me to organise a number of key things such as my cake and flowers and she took control of my table decor and centrepieces, designing them all from scratch and handmaking them. Also, to go with the Ibizan theme, Daniela designed deluxe hangover kits for our guests as opposed to traditional wedding favours. They were amazing!

ADVICE

The best decision I made was getting married in Ibiza over looking Es Vedra- it really was magical and all I could have wanted. The most memorable moment was definitely saying "I do" to my husband Chris! I have zero regrets, it was literally the most perfect day ever. I couldn't have done it without all of the amazing suppliers and of course my hair and make up girls Katy Gill and Hayley Ruxton. They were simply amazing- cannot recommend them enough!"
