When it came time for Jordan and JP to plan their wedding, the couple allowed their romantic venue, the Saskatoon Farm, to set the tone for the day's decor. "We wanted a very fresh and natural look that would blend in perfectly with our surroundings. Our goal was to create a relaxed and casual environment for our guests," Jordan explains. The wedding's colour scheme of neutrals, blush, gold and burgundy created a dreamy feel, while other details like antique furniture and vintage teacups added an element of shabby-chic charm.

Also contributing to the relaxed feel of the wedding was the gorgeous tiered naked cake, topped with juicy raspberries. "The cake was one of my favourite details of the wedding because it had the perfect pop of burgundy to add to our colour palette, and I don't think it gets much cuter than a naked cake piled high with raspberries!" Jordan says.

Other cool details included the mismatched bridesmaids' dresses, which each 'maid chose herself with just an off-white hue as a guideline. "The dresses complemented each other so perfectly. This allowed the bridesmaids to all show their individual personalities, as well as feel comfortable in what they were wearing," Jordan explains.

Jordan and JP's reception took place in a greenhouse, which had been decked out with a canopy of stunning blooms and even more shabby-chic touches like vintage books and chalkboard table numbers. They spent the reception chatting, laughing, dancing and, of course, taking photos. "We spent the night dressing up with photo booth props and dancing until the music stopped," the bride says.
