This afternoon's shoot is simple, but sometimes that's really all you need. I love that this bridal session is JUST about the girl and how gorgeous she is. No bells and whistles, no OTT styling experience, no extra STUFF. It's just her, being herself and looking totally amazing!

"My inspiration for this shoot was to shake things up and tell bride to be themselves", said photographer Kendra Elise. "Not every bride falls into the long hair, long dress, nude lip colour, floral ball bouquet category and thank goodness for that. It is way more exciting to follow your own style than it is to follow the rules of getting married... because let's be real there are no rules to falling in love, its just two people being themselves.

"I wanted to make images that were bold, fun, and absolutely stunning. I have had brides that have worried about not following the traditional rule book and I want to encourage them follow their own hearts. When you do your own thing it's way more rewarding and truly satisfying!"
