Love Lego? Then this is the perfect wedding for you today as this gorgeous bride and groom just love it too.

Amanda and Ross chose to marry on the 5th July 2015 at Rowton Hall Hotel in Cheshire. It was important to them that their wedding represented their personalities and was super fun to boot. Planning together, Amanda took on the organisation and Ross let his creative juices flow. With Lego touches throughout there was a show stopping Lego cake, Lego favours which entertained their guests and Lego inspired stationery. Love it.

Skyler by Augusta Jones turned out to be the perfect gown for Amanda... those sleeves, swoon. While the gents went for navy suits with Lego buttonholes of course. Yes.

THE PROPOSAL | 31st December 2013. Ross wrote a letter to me two weeks after we got together saying that he was going to propose on New Years Eve. He posted the letter to me and hid it until the appropriate moment which was 18 months later.

THE VISION | To reflect our personalities in a fun and inclusive way.

THE PLANNING PROCESS | We did everything between us from the beginning, I really didn't like the idea of Ross turning up to a wedding he barely knew anything about and fortunately he felt the same. He's the creative one out of the two of us and I'm the organiser, the combination of the two worked well for us.

THE VENUE | Rowton Hall Hotel, Cheshire.

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | My dress was Skyler by Augusta Jones, my shoes were from Elegant Steps, Wirral. Ross got me some earrings which I opened on the morning of the wedding and my bracelet was made for me by one of my bridesmaids as a thank you for being a bridesmaid at her wedding five weeks earlier!

FINDING THE DRESS | I knew that I liked lace and I wasn't keen on strapless but that was it. I found it really difficult choosing as I thought all the dresses were gorgeous. I tried on quite a few was really indecisive about the final choice, I didn't really have a 'this is the one' moment. I narrowed the selection down to two dresses which were both totally different, and I picked the other dress first. After about an hour of leaving the shop my instinct told me that I'd made the wrong choice, so I went back and changed my mind! The lesson was I had to please myself and not worry about pleasing my Mum!

GROOM'S ATTIRE | Ross and the rest of his party wore suit's from my menswear shop Larry Adams Menswear, Wirral. His slim fit navy three piece suit fitted him perfectly, he wore it with tan brogues and looked gorgeous! Our five nephews were page boys and wore mini versions of the same outfit which they loved!

THE READINGS & MUSIC | Our niece Lauren read an excerpt from The Velveteen Rabbit and a close friend Darren read an excerpt from the children's book I Like You. My entrance music was The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's version of The Balcony Scene from Romeo and Juliet and we had Claire De Lune, Paloma Faith and Paul McCartney whilst we were signing the register. We walked out to Scattered Black and White's by Elbow. We play the playlist with the wedding music on regularly, it takes you straight back to those moments. We booked Simon Brown to entertain us during our wedding breakfast and he did an amazing job and created a fabulous atmosphere, he also played our first dance, You've Got a Friend in Me by Randy Newman which was followed up with What Time Do Call This? by Elbow.

Our DJ was Leigh-Paul Martin and he was amazing, we talked to him before the wedding about the type of music we loved and everything he played made us jump up and down!

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | I had five bridesmaids who were dressed in Sorella Vita's Maid Your Way full length dress. I wanted to ensure that the girls could style the dress the way they wanted to but with a similarity running through and these dresses were perfect. They were from Cherish the Bride, Wirral. We also had five flower girls who wore ivory dresses from Monsoon, they looked beautiful.

THE FLOWERS | My Mum and Auntie did the flowers between them. Mum did the centrepieces and everything for the ceremony and my Auntie did the bouquets and buttonholes, it was great fun going to the wholesaler and choosing exactly what we wanted. We had lots of hydrangeas and peonies with some love in the mist and roses amongst others. Ross' and the ushers buttonholes had a Lego mini-fig wired into them which was a mini version of the person wearing them, they looked great!

THE CAKE | One of my bridesmaids Becky made our amazing wedding cake. It was four tiers with lemon and vanilla flavour sponge and a hidden Lego section at the back. Becky made another of my bridesmaid's wedding cake for her wedding and her own five weeks earlier from the same recipe, I love that!

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | We found Rachel after searching on the Internet. We'd already met a couple of people and not clicked with them or thought their images were too posed for us. We immediately loved Rachel's natural style and the colour on her images. Rachel also does family photography which was another selling point for us as we had a lot of children at the wedding. The minute we met Rachel we knew we'd found our photographer, she made us feel and ease and assured me that despite the fact I hated having my picture taken she'd be able to take some amazing images, and she was right. We really enjoyed the time we spent with Rachel on the day and the photographs she has taken our utterly amazing. Rachel is an incredibly talented person and alongside this she's warm, perceptive and genuinely interested in you and your day.

B2b productions did our amazing wedding DVD, Dave is utterly brilliant I can't watch any of his clips on his website without getting emotional!

THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | Our wedding had lots of subtle and not so subtle elements of Lego! Our wedding favours were bags of Lego that the guests enjoyed a lot more than we anticipated! There were tables trading for pieces at some points! We were presented with various Lego masterpieces during and after the wedding breakfast! Our centrepieces featured pieces of Lego Architecture that documented our various travels. Ross also created one for the venue of our first date, 60 Hope Street in Liverpool and one of my shop! Ross designed lots of the stationery, including the invitations and place cards and my cousin Thomas designed our amazing table plan.

Michelle and her team at Bluey and Baloo provided a wedding crèche for the 20 children that attended our wedding! We had them set up for the wedding breakfast and speeches so the parents could enjoy their meals and relax. It was a hit with everyone!

Our vintage bus was supplied by The Yorkshire Heritage Bus Company who waited around for over two hours so we could have photographs taken with the bus, their service was exceptional.

THE HONEYMOON | We went to Italy the week after the wedding visiting Sorrento, Rome and Pisa, it was great to get away after all the activity of the previous weeks.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | We hired a vintage bus for the wedding from The Yorkshire Heritage Bus Company for myself, bridesmaids, flower girls and my parents to travel to the venue in. I absolutely loved it, and the Prosecco on the bus went down well too! We both absolutely loved the marriage ceremony, we couldn't believe that we were finally getting married and were so excited to be exchanging vows.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Do your own thing. Advice from parents and family members is well meant but generally reflects their own opinions about what they would want and not necessarily what you would like!
