Newfoundland wedding photographer Maddie Mills, who conceptualized this styled shoot, says she was inspired by fall and the idea of rustic romance. Mills wanted to highlight this theme using some of the province's best wedding vendors. "Newfoundland's beauty and its people's talents are still underrepresented in the media, and I wanted to change that," she explains.

Mills says she wanted this shoot to have a farm-to-table feel with a mix of whimsical modern and vintage touches. "Antique furniture and decor was used, along with modern, punchy florals," she explains. These details, combined with the host location (a family run dairy and produce farm in St. John's) came together to produce a warm and cheerful rustic look.

"This styled wedding inspiration shoot was more than a month in the making," says Mills. "And I have to say it's one of the coolest things I have ever embarked on."
