Top Wedding Colours of 2016

via

This year has gone crazily quick and whilst everyone is starting to make plans for the festive season of turkeys, presents and the "New Year - New Me" vouches, the bridal world has already fast forwarded to spring 2016. It seems like we were welcoming in 2015 just 2 minutes ago, but with 2016 rapidly approaching many people are starting to question what the newest trends and colours will be in the world of weddings. Whether you are in the middle of planning or have already planned, there are some noteworthy trends for you to take a peek at and add into your wedding. Anyhow, who doesn't enjoy talking about weddings and fashion? Pantone (The Beyoncé of colour experts) have recently released what they believe the 10 most desirable colours of spring 2016 will be. It seems that spring will be filled with more natural light rather than bright colours, see below for our favourite 5: One of the most popular colours of 2015 was in fact purple, so this shade is bound to be a success next season. This colour is almost a subtle shade of purple and blue combined together, giving any wedding a peaceful feel without it being bland. The word "Serenity" is also a word used to describe the state of being calm... Ok so maybe the definition might not match your current feelings of pre-wedding stress, but it may help to calm the nerves on the big day? You never know!

Match Me With: Buttercup, Snorkel Blue or Peach Echo.

Rose Quartz According to "colour psychology" (yup, that's right, colour psychology is an actual thing) pink is the colour of universal love and represents romance and charm. So, if a wedding isn't an excuse for a dabble of pink then what occasion is? Rose Quartz is a lighter shade of pink that can add that warm, classy, loving atmosphere to your special day.

Match Me With: Peach Echo or Lilac Grey.

Iced Coffee: The rustic wedding and all of its charm will continue to be a top theme throughout 2016 and beyond, so if this is the route you wish to go down then this earthy colour will be essential to your wedding. The strong neutral Iced Coffee colour will also benefit other wedding themes such as woodland and vintage (burlap and wood grain).

Match Me With: Lilac Grey or Rose Quartz.

Sweet but sophisticated, peach has slowly been becoming more and more popular every year and next spring it is predicted to be in the spotlight. Peach echo is a friendly shade of orange which will add a blend of both classic and modern elegance to your special day.

Match Me With: Lilac Grey, Limpet Shell or Rose Quartz.

This colour is probably the most vibrant of the palette, offering a brighter and sunnier shade in comparison to the others. Buttercup is the perfect colour to embrace the fun and happiness of your wedding day.

Match Me With: Snorkel Blue, Serenity or Lilac Grey.

So, that's the spring line up in concern to colours! We'd love to hear about your colour choices or themes. Are any of you ladies using any of the above colours for your weddings?
