Jess and Simon took to a gorgeous forest with Simone Addison Photography for their engagement photos. They even brought along Roxy, their very special red heeler, because to them it wasn't going to be complete without her there. The couple met through Jess' best friend, who also happens to be Simon's colleague.

Jess tells, "We love our dog and wanted her to be a part of our save the date cards. It was a lot of fun having her a part of the shoot and the location worked perfectly, and was safe for her to run around while we had some more intimate photos."

On what they love about each other, Simon and Jess tell, "We love that we are always thinking the same thing, corny I know! We always put each other first and love each other's company. We have the same view on life and our future together."

Jess tells the story of how Simon proposed. "Simon took me shopping to get "sized" for a ring. We got an idea of what we wanted and decided to visit a jeweller recommended by a friend who custom makes rings. After meeting with the jeweller we'd decided on the ring I wanted and ended up ordering the ring! As we'd done that process alone together and told no one (which was so hard!), Simon wanted our families to be there when he proposed.

Simon organised a weekend away with both parents and proposed to me in front of them. It was so nice to finally share it with them!"
