These adorable lovers did not let any sort of New Orleans weather ruin their sweet and romantic engagement session with Greer Gattuso. In fact, Kelly and Bobby whole-heartedly embraced the rain, with the encouragement of Greer no less, which resulted in some ultra playful and memorable photographs.

What should you do if rain is in your forecast for your upcoming engagement photos (or any sort of portrait session)? We recommend letting loose and having FUN. Throw on a pair of trusty rain boots, grab an adorable umbrella, and splash around with your love. More so than what your hair looks like and just how perfectly your dress is supposed to fluff... your emotion and authentic interaction with your love is the most important part that will ensure gorgeous photos to enjoy for a lifetime...

From the bride: "I am a Louisiana girl; born in Shreveport, raised in Baton Rouge. I love football (Geaux LSU Tigers & New Orleans Saints!), crisp fall days, nature and curling up with a good book. After graduating from Elon University in North Carolina with a B.A. in May of 2009, I moved to Los Angeles, CA and began improvisation training at the Upright Citizen's Brigade.

Robert (I call him Bobby) was born in Delaware, raised in Pennsylvania just outside of Philadelphia. He is an Eagles fan, which adds some fun NFC drama to our household. He is passionate about video games, music, loves collecting vinyl and originally wanted to be a record producer before discovering his love for the performing arts. Shortly after graduating with a B.A. from Temple University, Bobby moved to Los Angeles and began studying acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. It was spring of 2010 when I joined the Renegade Theatre Group in L.A. for acting classes. There I met Bobby, who offered to be my first scene partner. We met for rehearsals, which quickly led to us spending more and more time together outside of class. It did not take long for us to realize we both wanted to be scene partners for life. We ultimately moved back to my home state of Louisiana and settled in New Orleans. After dating for five years, and on a seemingly quiet Monday night in October 2014, we planned to carve pumpkins together for Halloween. Every year, Bobby carves intricate surprise masterpieces, little did I know, this year would be different. Bobby proposed to me by carving "Will You Marry Me?" into two corresponding pumpkins. I burst into tears of joy as I accepted my best friend's proposal. We wanted our engagement session to be whimsical, natural, and uniquely New Orleans. Audubon Park (our favorite spot in our beloved city) teems with timeless live oak trees draped with Spanish moss, which creates a haunting yet beautiful setting that only New Orleans can provide. We quickly settled on the park as a location for our shoot. Our incomparably talented photographer Greer Gattuso shared in our vision and we were set! Summers in New Orleans are languid, saturated, and of course hot, almost daily thunderstorms are unavoidable, and the day of our engagement session was no different. Instead of bemoaning the rain, we embraced it. I kicked off my shoes, we got drenched, and Greer captured the dreamiest photographs of us behind a storybook backdrop. We could not be more thrilled with the way Greer directed us and captured the fairytale whimsy of our session. Greer's creativity, adventurousness and talent led to these breathtaking photographs that we will cherish forever!" Vendor Details
