NYFW Street Style: Get These Looks

NYFW Street Style: Get These Looks

via

Gimlet-eyed Crystal Nicodemus is busy snapping street style starlets during NYFW. Here are her photos to inspire you for next season, or this, and some wardrobe picks to help you get the look.

Serena Goh and Christina Caradona: One of my favorite things to see at Fashion Week is friends having an awesome time and enjoying the chaos of the moment. These two lovelies were all smiles at Erin Fetherston, despite the rainy weather on the inaugural day of NYFW. Printed trousers are the perfect pairing with a cool white blouse. Of course, as popular style bloggers themselves, Serena ( thespicystiletto.com) and Christina ( troprouge.blogspot.com) are no stranger to finding the perfect Fashion Week outfits.

Margaret Zhang (here at BCBG) is a wildly talented and stylish multi-hyphenate superstar from Australia. When she's not studying law, she's shooting campaigns and running her seriously popular Instagram account. Margaret may only be 21, but she's well on her way to becoming a fashion frontrunner. She's always on trend, while making sure to add her own spin. The skinny scarf is a hot item this season, and I like how Margaret has styled hers in a modern minimalist way. Culottes continue to reign supreme, while luxe snakeskin boots are on the rise.

Another rainy show, another gorgeous BFF duo! Jenny Bernheim (of Margo & Me) and Grasie Mercedes ( Style Me Grasie) were kind enough to let me take a few snaps outside Tadashi Shoji, despite the threatening thunderclouds. I love how perfectly complimentary and yet uniquely different these two ensembles are. Jenny's ruffled, pale pink dress is flirty and feminine, while her black leather accessories add some New York edge. Grasie's bold patterned two-piece set is retro and amazing, and totally fits her vibrant personality. Love love love!

Sometimes, you just have to get sneaky and take a candid shot during Fashion Week. While posing is all fun and games, natural stillness amidst the frenzied crowds can really stand out. Laurienne's simple, understated style is all about modern minimalism. The shirtdress is one of the season's top themes, as is the white sneaker, but Laurienne makes the styles feel fresh and unique.
