Talk about a striking couple! If it isn't immediately obvious from the gorgeous fashion at this wedding-the bride and groom are fashion designers. Both of whom, designed their own wedding party wardrobe. We're loving Jenny's choice for her bridesmaids-avante-garde, navy jumpsuits-which Micah balanced out beautifully with the sharp fitting tuxedoes he designed for his groomsmen. The additional details of the event were clean and minimal (think graphic white calla lilies) and the couple let the always-cool Parker Palm Springs venue do the talking. Thankfully, Jenny Smith & Co. was there to perfectly capture the day.

What made the wedding special and unique?

We both are very artistic individuals and wanted a venue that was unique. We both have always loved the aesthetic and history behind the Le Parker Meridien in Palm Springs and felt an outdoor sunny November wedding at the hotel would be the perfect fit. We wanted the design of the wedding to be minimalistic and clean. We stuck to white calla lilies for the bouquets and centerpieces, navy jumpsuits for the bridesmaids, navy tuxedos for the groomsmen, and let the venue make up the rest of the overall look and feel.

What were some touches added to make it personal?

We are both fashion designers so Micah designed tuxedos for the groomsmen, while Jenny and her twin sister, Brie, designed jumpsuits for the bridesmaids.

What was the most memorable part of the day?

We decided to write our own vows and recited them to each other for the first time at the wedding. It made for a truly unique ceremony full of laughs and tears. In addition, our fathers', siblings' and friends' speeches were hilarious, memorable and so special.

For Micah's birthday, he invited a small group of friends to Palm Springs with a secret proposal plan in mind. As the birthday meal ended, a waiter set a giant cake down in front of Jenny, to which she explained, "its his birthday, not mine" and pushed the cake in front of Micah. Micah then leaned into Jenny and asked her to read the cake which read "Will You Marry Me?!" and got down on one knee! What prompted the decision to have the wedding at this particular venue?
