Love flowers? Me too and so does today's lovely bride Hanna. In fact her mum is a florist and so it was inevitable that her wedding to Robert was to be full of beautiful blooms.

Hanna and Robert were married on Tuesday 7th April in a Church ceremony followed by a barn reception in the West Midlands. Robert loves music, hence the wonderful musical inspired details and décor.

Now for the florals. Pink and red roses were used in abundance and Hanna's flower crown may just be my fave ever. Hanna chose to wear Twilight by Ivory & Co, which looked so very romantic and swishy. LOVE.

Kari Bellamy, thank you so very much for sharing your amazing photographs. What a delight.

THE PROPOSAL | Rob and I are both lovers of being outdoors and we are always filling our time going out and about; we especially love to go walking. During the Christmas holidays in 2012, we visited friends in York and on the 30th December decided to go for a walk in the Yorkshire Moors. Despite our friends moaning and the standard British weather (Raining, windy and cold!) we really enjoyed ourselves. Towards the end of the walk, coming down the hill Rob turned to me and asked if I liked the view, of course I did, it was beautiful... Rob quickly grabbed my hand and ran ahead pulling me behind him. He found a good spot and got down on one knee in the wet grass; he pulled out a box and asked me if I'd marry him! I was so overwhelmed and shocked, it was perfect and of course I said YES! Our friends had caught up to us at this point and having witnessed the whole thing from a distance couldn't wait to start celebrating and congratulating us. It was made even more special because we had witnessed their proposal in Edinburgh the year before. It was beautiful, serene, very personal and absolutely perfect for us.

THE VISION | 'English Rose'- Great British countryside mixed with lots of flowers and very traditional features.

THE PLANNING PROCESS | Naturally, I already had a Pinterest board full of inspiration and ideas for our wedding day!! I set to planning straight away; we were always very clear about what we wanted and sharing responsibilities. We got the big things out of the way quickly and let the smaller details fall into place as and when. We quickly found we had very different priorities; Rob's the music - so I left him to it and made sure to include touches towards his love of music wherever I could. Mine was definitely the flowers - my mum is a trained florist, so it was only natural that I would ask her to do our wedding flowers. She was overjoyed to be asked and started making notes and plans immediately. We visited flower markets in London and Birmingham and I very quickly helped my mum to share my vision and the colour scheme I had set my heart set on. We found the whole process really fun and exciting, we didn't want to get stressed out by it as we wanted to enjoy every moment. We actually joked that we were maybe doing something wrong as it seemed too simple at times. I wish I could plan another one!!

BUDGET | I wouldn't say we were a 'budget' wedding but we definitely didn't want to spend the average of £20,000+ we set a budget of under £10k and of course overspent! The total wedding cost was about £15k incl our amazing honeymoon to Thailand.

THE VENUE | We already knew we wanted to get married in Rob's family Church - St.Chads in Wishaw, near to Sutton Coldfield. It has such strong family ties as it is where Rob's parents were married, he and his sister both Christened and his sister married too.

I then set to finding a reception venue in the area to fit with the Church - this wasn't so easy. After lots of internet searching and many phone calls in which I remarked 'How much!?!?!!' we finally had a bit of luck. Rob's sister had heard from a friend about a venue that only advertise through word of mouth and just happened to be in Wishaw, just a 5min drive from the Church - we couldn't believe our luck. When we went to view the venue it became apparent just how lucky we were, the venue was an old converted barn full of character and located on a working farm - stunning and perfect! Just what we were looking for, what's the catch? There wasn't one, it was well within budget and the owner Anne was wonderfully helpful and knew her stuff inside out and her food was amazing!

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Dress and accessories were all bought from Ivory & Co. Dress is called 'Twilight' and my necklace and bracelet both 'Starry Night'.

FINDING THE DRESS | Finding my dress was very easy. In fact, it was the first dress I tried on! I bought tickets for the National Wedding Show and went along with my mum, aunt and maid of honour. We had a great day and rather quickly found the one. I then spent the rest of the day trying on other dresses and every time comparing them to that first dress. I left, adamant it couldn't be that easy and continued to shop online, browsing websites, blogs and looking through many, many magazines looking for anything that could compare to that first dress. Even after spending the day with my bridesmaids trying on dresses in every style possible I just couldn't get the gorgeous 'Twilight' dress out of my head. So I decided to go to Ivory & Co direct at their showroom in Earls Croome, Worcestershire and met with the head designer Sarah Bussey and I was instantly sold. The dress was just as I remembered it and Sarah herself was so lovely and helpful and the showroom- incredible!

GROOM'S ATTIRE | Last summer Rob and I went on holiday to Vietnam. Whilst we were there Rob decided to have his suit tailor made. The quality was fantastic and of course, being tailor made it fit perfectly. I helped to choose the best quality fabrics and the colours to fit the scheme I had planned. He wore a grey wool and silk blend 3 piece suit with a mint green tie and pocket swatch.

As a gift for the day I bought Rob a pair of initial cufflinks (H & R) to finish off his attire with a personal touch.

THE READINGS & MUSIC | The music was a huge part of our day. We had the luxury of the Church choir available to us and therefore had beautiful music from the off. We chose hymns that meant something to us for the service, Lord of the Dance, Shine Jesus Shine and Jerusalem and then during the signing of the register the choir sang 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' and 'God Only Knows' both by the Beach boys.

We then had a band booked for the evening, we decided to go for a Motown band as it's the kind of music that you just can't resist dancing to and there is something for everyone. We chose 'Double Take', a band recommended by some friends and they lived up to their recommendation fully. They were brilliant and the dance floor was filled all night.

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | I knew from the very beginning that I wanted my bridesmaids to wear mint green dresses to complement the bright pinks of the flowers. In the end I chose some Maxi infinity multiway dresses from 'Thedaintyard' on Etsy. They were brilliant and the girls looked incredible in them. I paired them with statement necklaces also found on Etsy, flowers in their hair and bright pink shoes to match my own!

THE FLOWERS | My mum, (Lynne Jessett) did such an incredible job with the flowers. We chose a mixture of roses; 'Purple Power', 'Rosa Heaven' and 'Splash Sensation' amongst others and paired them with fuchsia pink Ranunculus, large Hydrangea blooms and Eucalyptus (to just name a few). The flowers really were the main attraction - they were everywhere, my mum really did herself proud and worked so incredibly hard to make our day perfect. I can't thank her enough.

My bouquet was filled with my favourite flowers and little touches to include Rob - he loves succulents so my mum actually wired some up and added them in and they looked amazing. All the flowers included sprigs of Rosemary as it's a smell that Rob loves, helping to ensure the smell will always remind us of our wedding day.

Having worked for my mum as her Saturday girl when I was younger we both set to work to get the huge amount of flowers completed in time. The flower order arrived on Friday the 3rd April at 9am and completely filled a family friend's garage. My mum and Hilary (Rob's mum) set about preparing the flowers and then my mum began the long process of making up the huge amount of flowers. I helped out when I could and made sure to make Rob's buttonhole myself.

The final touches were made and my mum finished off by making my incredible flower crown - filled to the brim with large roses. She didn't finish until 11pm the night before the wedding (Monday 6th), and she still managed to look beautiful and fresh faced on the wedding day!! I can't thank her enough for the amazing job she did. The flowers completely made our wedding.

THE CAKE | The cake was made by Rob's very talented Aunt - we wanted something simple that could then be decorated with fresh flowers. It tasted delicious!

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | We searched for a while for the perfect photographer. It was one aspect of our wedding that we really didn't want to compromise, we wanted photographs that would hold our memories for years to come and we wanted something with a wow factor. We found Kari Bellamy through facebook, she had photographed an old friend's wedding and her blog post had popped up on my news feed - I had a sneaky peak and was blown away. The images were incredible, I shared the blog with Rob and we both decided there and then that we needed to contact Kari and quick. Kari was brilliant throughout the entire process. We loved going to London to do our engagement shoot and we were very pleased with the pictures she captured, it made us even more excited for the wedding and the pictures that were to come. She captured our day brilliantly, documenting the entire event through superb shots. She was very enthusiastic towards her work and was getting so excited about the shots she was capturing. It was great.

THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | We carried through the music theme into our details. I made place cards and penny favours using vintage sheet music and a typewriter stamp set. The table plan was made to match and other small details throughout but the flowers really stole the show!

THE HONEYMOON | We honeymooned in Thailand, leaving the very next day. We had 3 nights in Bangkok and 7 in Hua Hin. I had never been to Thailand before and Rob was keen to share his experience of it with me so we already knew that's where we would go. It was everything we hoped for when we booked it and we had an amazing time. The weather was perfect, over 30 degrees every day and not a single drop of rain the entire trip.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | Our most memorable moment was definitely the speeches. My dad surprised us all with a heartfelt overwhelming speech that touched our hearts, followed by my maid of honour 'Charlie' who delivered in her words a 'charlyesque' speech full of hilarious memories and delivered in her brilliant manner. Rob's speech was the perfect balance of humour, sentiment and respect, and of course this was then followed by the best man. Kieran delivered a well versed summary of the development of Rob's character, our relationship and a toast to our future!

They were brilliant.

I also will never forget arriving to the church to find my 2 ½ year old nephew Zachary, and 2 year old God-daughter Angelica, ready and waiting to walk down the aisle with me. They both gave me huge kisses right before I entered the church.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Our advice to other couples would be to relax and enjoy every moment, from the very beginning. Don't sit back and let the bride do everything, I loved how involved Rob wanted to be and we didn't make any decisions without the others opinion. A wedding is not just one day; it is all the time between your engagement right up to the day itself.
