I love natural engagement sessions that are personal and full of style - and photographer Theresa Furey gets it just right with this farm-style engagement shoot with Holly & Matthew! I love that they used her parents smallholding for the shoot, complete with chickens! We just adore these two...

We met at work back in 2006 at work, Matthew was an IT engineer and was assigned to come and fix my computer one day. It all went really quickly from there, going on holiday and moving into a flat together within 3 months.. it then took a further 8 years to get engaged! We'd gone to Paris just before Christmas 2014 and he'd managed to surprise me by asking the question, I couldn't tell you what he said as I have no idea! We spent the day drinking champagne, meeting a couple from Nottingham in the Christmas markets, who were kind enough to buy us drinks. We went out together to buy the perfect ring, neither of us speak particularly good French but a lovely lady called Rose help us pick the perfect ring from a shop in the jewellery quarter on Rue de la Paix. We're getting married in May 2015 so admittedly it has all been a bit of a whirlwind getting everything ready. Having beautiful photos is really important to us so we were delighted when Theresa Furey was available; she's done a wonderful job with our engagement shoot. We're very much into capturing the essence of people and having a natural feel. The photo shoot was at my parents smallholding where we love to spend time helping out. We so looking forward to our wedding and seeing everyone have a great time.
