Southwestern Inspired Accessories for Your Wedding

There is something that I just adore about Southwestern inspired weddings. It's a little desert love mixed in with boho chic to create a unique bridal style that is filled with bright colors, turquoise and explosive sunsets. Throw in some succulents and cactus backdrops and your bright Southwestern inspired accessories will really pop!

One of my favorite details of the Southwest is turquoise. When paired with white dresses and coral or gold accents (above), your bridesmaids will look stunning standing next to you on your big day. If you're not really a statement jewelry kind of person, incorporate the fun color into the cowboy boots you know you'll be wearing when you walk down the aisle. The contrast of dark brown and bright turquoise is boho approved.

When it comes to the flowers of the Southwest, succulents definitely top our list. Since it is already flower crown season, adding them to your hairstyle or (arguably cuter) your flower girls' hair styles will give you a Southwestern look while creating a unique style that will last all day and night.

Did I mention I love turquoise? This bracelet cuff below gives off a great old Southwest vibe without being too loud or overwhelming. The great thing about cuffs is that once you get them in place, they are there to stay - even as you dance the night away.

Dessert charm just oozes from these two Southwest inspired pairs of earrings. With the pair above, you'll give off more of an Aztec-y vibe with the cutout edges and geometric shapes. The bright and eye catching statement earrings below are perfect for a more modern Southwest bride.

I know you didn't think that we were going to get through a whole Southwestern inspired accessories article without showing you a little fringe. Choosing something cute and portable like this modern clutch (above, left) is a great gift for your bridesmaids that they can use again and again.

The arrow shaped necklace (above, right) is true Southwestern style with its shape and pattern. Long necklaces look great on boho styled dresses!

Last but not least, a little more turquoise love to add to my already obvious obsession. These gold, turquoise and diamond rings (below) are fantastic for a bride who incorporates Southwestern living into her everyday life. They are a breath of fresh air from thousands of silver and gold rings - wear them proudly and I'm sure you'll get many compliments on your unique style!
