Happy Bank Holiday Monday Gorgeous People!

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and are enjoying this extra day of chillaxing in the sun. We've just this second finished unpacking after what can only be described as an epic week away in France. It was our first holiday as a family and it couldn't have been more perfect. More details of where we stayed and what we got up too will be coming up on the blog very soon so watch this space.

We have a bit of a TUNE to share with you for today's alternative first dance love song. If you've not heard Oddisee's "That's Love" before then dust off those dancing shoes as this is most definitely a song to tap your feet too.

On this track, Oddisee tips his hat to the many different guises of love. He doesn't talk about those fuzzy feelings we all get when we first fall in love because, the reality is, these feelings are just the tip of the iceberg. Instead he shares the side of love that challenges us, inspires us and makes us better people. The hurtful truths, the reassurances, the tough lessons - the more complicated sides to love that we have all experienced.

I absolutely love the lyrics and the musicality of this song is brillaint. It is such a unique mixture of soul-jazz rhythms and R'n'B.
