Flower crowns, dream-catchers, and a campfire sing-along, this wedding is so freakin' cool!

Jayme and Jeremy got married on The Lotus Feed Farm in California, with a day they describe as bohemian, musical, organic.

Their fun and romantic hippy style celebration was captured beautifully by Laurie Wilson of From SF With Love.

You know we love a wedding that's really got a personal stamp on it, and this one couldn't have been more reflective of Jayme and Jeremy's love story.

With a relationship that was spawned from a shared love of music, and blossomed over some guitar lessons, it was only fitting that this cool couple's celebration was one big jam session.

From Jeremy serenading his bride-to-be as she walked up the aisle, to old friends reforming for the reception, to a campfire sing song into the night, this day was all about the music.

Add in some incredible bohemian style, gorgeous blooms, and utterly inspired DIY decor, and we have ourselves one very special, very unique wedding.

Our Love Story

Jeremy played guitar in a hippy jam band in San Francisco and Jayme loved hippy jam bands. Jayme and her best friend, Paige, used to go watch the band and would be dancing like San Francisco hippies in the front row. Paige married the bass player of the band in 2009. Unfortunately the band disbanded. Jayme ran into Jeremy at a Christmas party a couple years later and got reacquainted. On one of their first dates, Jeremy was pleased to learn that Jayme had two guitars at her apartment. However, she didn't play very well and Jeremy made it his mission to teach her. Alas, love blossomed and we were married September 20, 2014. In the meantime, Jeremy taught Jayme how to play guitar and now they write songs and perform together.

Our Wedding

We wanted our wedding to be a reflection of our community and of us as a couple, so it was very important that there be a lot of music and that our vendors be either friends or from the local community. Paige Mullins, the maid of honor, handmade the dreamcatcher where all the guests wrote dreams for us. She also handmade the table placards, flower vases and candleholders. Megan Stevens made all of the flower crowns worn by the bridesmaids. Paige Mullins and Megan Stevens decorated. The petals thrown by the flower girl were grown on the farm and picked that morning. All the flowers came from the farm where we got married. Laurie Wilson, the photographer, was a close friend of bridesmaid, Megan Stevens, and a new friend of the bride.

The Ceremony

We wrote our own vows and the ceremony was performed by Jeremy's sister, Kimberly Paige. We were married on the Fall Equinox and Kimberly wove the The bride loves flowers and flowers were a large part of the wedding theme. Jeremy played "La Vie En Rose" and sang it in French as Jayme walked down the aisle. The most important part of the wedding for both of us was the music since that was what brought us together. Have your friends be your vendors and make the experience yours. As much as you can, try to be present with each other.
