They say, that love isn't something you find, love is something that finds you. Well As Ether moved through a crowd of people she spotted the love of her life and as she says, never stopped talking since. Today we share with you the wedding of Esther and Waldo at the very popular Florence Guestfarm outside Chrissiesmeer in Mpumalanga. Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

We met by chance at show wear Waldo was playing. I was there to support an artist I've
known for years and within the crowd of stage performers was this handsome man on
stage playing trumpet, which caught my eye as I wasn't familiar with this instrument
withing the contemporary music scene. Afterwards we started chatting a realized we new
too many of the same people and never met. We never stopped talking and three
years later we got married.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

Being a jeweller myself, the biggest part (I heard afterwards) of the engagement was him
wanting to surprise me with a ring. He didn't want to make me part of the process and I
dreamed of also being surprised like any other girl.
He championed my design program behind my back and made use of all my sneaky
suppliers. He then designed and made my ring himself. Though this was not an easy
process and took him 6 months he past with flying colors, surprising me with his
inelegance, skill and romanticism. This will forever be the most romantic thing anyone
has ever done for me.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The most memorable moment cannot be captured in one single moment but should one
of the many be mentioned it should be the first kiss as husband and wife. It was the start
of our new family, the start of unknown endless memories and the start of many tears.
Tears of joy, tears of longing and tears of grief. That moment takes me back to the one
sentence that will always melt my hart and comfort me at times, I never thought I'd ever
stand in front of my dream man and that's the simple phrase 'you never have to be alone'.
That moment will always remain the start of something endless.

Never make it about the day. The day will pass and there's nothing one can do to prolong
