New York, New York, so good we're blogging about it twice! Last year I visited the Big Apple for the first time to celebrate Mr B's birthday, and we fell in love with this busy, trendy, diverse and hip city. You can read all about my NYC experiences here and here. This time however, we're looking at this city with new eyes - younger ones in fact as we hear from Kate Nielen and her experience of New York with her two young children.

WHERE TO STAY This time we actually stayed at The Madison Hotel in Morristown NJ, an easy 30min train ride to Penn Station - worked best for our working arrangements.

WHAT TO DO My two young children recon that the best thing EVER are the sprinklers at the Central Park playground. We did all the kiddie highlights: The Natural History Museum (watch the Night at The Museum for added interest!), Central Park (all playgrounds), The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, Times Square... to name just a few. We all love food so a steak is a firm family favourite. For a truly New York experience head straight to The Palm.

WHAT TO PACK From easy going clothes for a leisurely morning in Central Park to a fabulously glam outfit for a dinner party - you will need it all in New York.
