Fun + Vibrant Los Angeles Wedding: Sarah + Jon

We totally realize it may be easier said than done, but why not make it a point to just have fun with your wedding?! Sarah + Jon are the perfect example of a couple who had all the normal nerves when planning, but made it a point to truly enjoy their day. Sarah has some relatable words to share in just a sec + some great advice we think you'll agree with at the end of the post. It's all about enjoying the process. And we have to say, S + J's happy faces in these photos by Orange Owl Photography say it all (And are kinda contagious if you ask us!).

When their planner + designer, the lovely Carly Rae, met them for the first time, she said she's never laughed so hard in a client consultation. She later found out that Jon is a comedian and spends his days writing, acting, and producing for Comedy Central. But we're not saying you have to be a comedian to have fun with your wedding! Sarah + John valued good food, killer drinks, and a carefree atmosphere where friends could relax and feel at home. And with a great vendor team on board, all the little things fell into place and everything turned out just as beautiful as could be!

Sarah says, We wanted our wedding to be an excellent summer party with lots of color and without too much formality. Beforehand, I was so looking forward to being married to Jon, but I was nervous and overwhelmed by the wedding planning, and I thought there was no way I would actually be able to relax and enjoy the actual day. I was wrong. Our wedding was probably the best day of my life.
