Purple Glam Wedding

Purple Glam Wedding

Dreams came true for Michael and Anna. They were able to marry at The TCU Carr Chapel. Which is rumored to be booked years in advance. What a great way to celebrate the start of their love story, by saying, "I Do," at the exact place where their love story began.

Taking ques from their alma mater, they incorporated the TCU purple into their wedding day, which evolved into a purple glam masterpiece. You will love all the details, and there are even more of their day all captured by Ivy Weddings in the full gallery here.

Fact vs. Fiction

From the Bride: Myth has it around TCU that Robert Carr Chapel is booked years in advance, so in all truth, I didn't even consider it at first with that rumor in the back of my mind. I remember not being happy with any site we had run across, and out of pure curiosity, I figured I would contact Robert Carr Chapel so see if it was available. That email back had me ecstatic! Everything came full circle: we met at TCU, and we'd get married at TCU.

Lessen Nerves With A First Look

A bonus with the first look? We got all of our nerves out of the way! Thank you Matt and Ivy for recommending the first look, we are so glad we chose to share that private moment with each other. I remember being so relieved to just hug Michael, and from then on, we felt so much more relaxed and able to enjoy our ceremony and reception.

Private Last Dance

Our DJ recommended a private last dance at the end of the night when the guests were making their way down for the exit was incredible. We picked a song from one of our favorite artists, Imogen Heap, and it was a song that we've both loved for a long time. It was the perfect way to end our time at the reception.
