Elegant Vintage-Inspired New Orleans Wedding

Elegant Vintage-Inspired New Orleans Wedding

via

New Orleans is the epitome of vintage elegance, and Destiny and Blaine's wedding perfectly embodies the magical presence of the Crescent City. Although the couple both hail from north Louisiana, they make their home in New Orleans, and as Destiny says, "there is no better place to marry the one you love"! Destiny, an interior designer and self-professed "lover of small details", drew inspiration from both the city's historic details, choosing the elegant stone courtyard of Latrobe's on Royal for their gas lantern-lit ceremony and the exposed brick and stucco walls of the ballroom for their reception, and its artistic culture, with local painter Ben Hamburger on hand to paint the night as it unfolded. Maria from Tupelo Honey Design created hand-painted oyster invitations, vintage handkerchief favors, and New Orleans map save the dates. From the first look in Louis Armstrong Park to the second line parade through the French Quarter, they perfectly captured the spirit of their city, and we are completely head-over-heels with each and every detail, and the stunning images from Greer G Photography!
