#165: rustic romance

Written by: louise

Hi lovelies! Well, it's been a busy weekend at b.loved HQ helping out fellow stylist Jessie Thomson at a gorgeous garden wedding in the Cotswolds, followed by a cosy Sunday lunch avoiding the storm! Oh my, the Cotswolds is just wedding heaven for the romantic bride, with the prettiest villages, churches and venues at every turn. I'm hooked!

Not long ago I was lucky enough to a shoot at one of the Cotswold's star venues, Barnsley House, so today I wanted to share the inspiration behind the shoot for all you rustic romantics out there! Pretty muted pastels are just perfect for English country garden weddings - think blush, sage, and lavender with pewter. Make the most of seasonal summer blooms, giant blush dahlias are stunning at this time of year, paired with David Austin roses, eucalyptus foliage and feathery-light astible they make for a totally swoon-worthy display. Create a relaxed vibe with luxurious linens and touches of lace teamed with elegant details, calligraphy and rustic touches.

Pure romance!

Love this? Keep an eye out for the shoot soon!
