Oh how I dream of getting married in the woods, it must be the most perfect atmospheric setting. Woodland weddings are my favourite, teamed with glamping and a super loved up couple, well just you cannot go wrong.

WWW readers Greg and Sarah tied the knot on the 5 April 2014 holding their wedding at the brilliant Jollydays Glamping in Yorkshire. They wanted a weekend wedding with a hog roast and ceilidh.

It was a real child friendly affair, with a gorgeous tipi decked in rustic decor and the most amazing cake table. Sarah looked stunning in her Mia Mia gown with flowers in her hair while Greg donned a kilt. WOW.

THE PROPOSAL | Greg proposed while we were on holiday in Elounda, Crete. We had a romantic meal and he proposed just by the ocean with a beautiful ring. The next day we had a motorbike accident so it was a memorable holiday for two reasons!

THE VISION | I asked Greg what he wanted from the wedding and he wanted a weekend event where the majority of the guests could stay on site, together with a hog roast and a ceilidh! I searched for a venue that could accommodate this vision. I wanted a romantic day, which was focused on family and friends.

THE PLANNING PROCESS | We planned the wedding with a small baby, so it was mainly done online. Thankfully all the suppliers turned up.

THE VENUE | Jollydays Glamping, near York

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | My dress was by Mia Mia and I bought it at Morgan Davies bridal in London. I wore pink hunter wellies during the day and dance shoes by bloch for the evening party. I also had a cashmere wrap for when it got chilly later on..

FINDING THE DRESS | I spotted the dress in a magazine and my mum and I went to Morgan Davies in London. The girls were amazing, and I went with the first dress that I tried on.

GROOM'S ATTIRE | Greg wore a kilt in the patriot tartan, an arochar tweed jacket and waistcoat and an antique piping sporran which was family heirloom. Greg is Australian, but wore the traditional Scottish outfit to make me (and my family) happy!

THE READINGS & MUSIC | I walked down the aisle to Stand by Me. During the ceremony we all sang All you need is love and we left to Can't take my eyes off you. Our fantastic musician Sam Harrison also learnt one of our favourite songs, All for you by Cold Chisel, which he played during the reception.

Our ceremony was conducted by one of our best friends, Marc Forster-Pert (aka Foz). He wrote it all himself and it was incredibly personal. Greg's cousin, Robyn Riddett, who introduced us, did a reading from Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | My maid of honour was Kate who has been my best friend since I was three years old. My two other bridesmaids were Gemma, a friend since high school and Amy who has known me since birth. Unfortunately, Gemma could not make it on the day.

THE FLOWERS | I wanted the flowers to incorporate thistles for my Scottish heritage and eucalyptus to reflect Greg's Australian roots. The flowers were done by Take a Leaf florist in Stamford Bridge, close to the venue. They were more beautiful than I had even envisaged.

THE CAKE | Cakes! Two close family friends, Shona and Karen created a cake buffet. Our main cake was a woodland scene with tipis and British and Australian native animals in fondant - it was a work of art done by our friend Shona of Shona's cakes. Shona also created a Whisky Mac cake especially for the wedding. She and Karen did so many amazing cakes that I can't even list them here.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Carly Bevan. Carly was the best supplier we found for our wedding. I found her through facebook and she actually ended up photographing two weddings for us (we had a separate legal ceremony as our woodland ceremony was not legally binding). I love Carly's style as it really feels like she tells the story of the day through her photography.

THE DETAILS & DECOR | The reception was held in papa kata tipis and we decorated with some paper pomp oms. All the tables were named after wines and the table plan was wine bottles strung from beams, each guest's setting was in a champagne cork.

THE HONEYMOON | Watford! Our main honeymoon will take place next year, so we are about to go on a minimoon to the Grove in Watford. We chose it as it is family friendly so perfect to enjoy with our eight month old son.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | too many to think of. We had a fantastic time getting ready in the morning and playing with baby Finlay. I loved meeting my dad at the entrance to the ceremony space, it was a lovely moment. I loved hearing the musician sing a special song as a surprise for Greg. And we loved that so many of our guests wore kilts (we had lots of Aussies in kilts, a Pakistani man, a Frenchman and several German men!)

I asked Greg what his favourite moment was and he said me walking down the aisle "because I was all blubbery"!

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Book a honeymoon immediately after the wedding. We didn't as we had so many family and friends visiting and it has taken us over a month to book some time just for us!
