I cannot believe the time has come already for WWW real bride Kirsty's last bride diary entry. With less than 2 weeks until her wedding day she has been ensuring the finishing touches are ready and has had her hen do. Thanks so much Kirsty, I hope you have the most amazing wedding. Cannot wait to hear all about it already XOXO Lou

Hello Brides! My final post before I become Mrs P, less than two weeks to go, where has the time gone!

I've been busy making things for the wedding (still!) and tying up lose ends. I don't think I appreciated how many decisions and how many silly things I would have to think about like making sure we have brown tape for the caterers to secure the menus around napkins for name places, what! Speaking of which, let me know what you think...

I've pretty much recreated something I saw on Pinterest and our caterers have kindly offered to put them all together for us on the day.

I have also had my hen weekend since my last post which was really amazing. My twin cousins who are my chief bridesmaids couldn't have given me a better weekend in Bristol. They had bunting made with the date of the hen do, individual bags for all the guests with goodies inside include perfume samples!

They decorated the house we were staying in with even more bunting (my favourite) and even managed to get hold of some strobe lights! There were 17 of us in total and everyone got on so well, I didn't want the weekend to end! But it made me even more excited for the wedding as it hit me when they said "see you at the Wedding in two weeks!" We all took part in 'It's a Knockout' on the Saturday day which was hilarious despite the torrential rain all afternoon!I'm far too competitive for my own good and ended up losing my voice from all the shouting (with encouragement obviously!). Here we all are before our night out...

I couldn't not have a craft activity on the hen do as it is what I 'do' now!All my hens designed their own patchwork square, which I will then sew together to make an heirloom quilt. Here are some of my hen's hard at work...

I look forward to offering party and hen packages as part of my new workshop business ( www.makedoandtrend.co.uk) after the success of the hen do craftiness. Here are some of the finished patchwork squares...

Thank you to Lou and my fellow real brides and everyone who has read and commented the posts. It has been lovely to share my special journey with you all and I will look forward to continue reading real bride diaries in the future!

See you on the other side : )
